New York City Dance Center Concept Comes to New Jersey
Dancers know that New York City is the place where you can choose the dance classes you want to take, when you take them, how often you attend, which instructors you learn from -- all at an affordable price that is "spend as you go."

Now, this concept has moved to northern New Jersey. A number of the most popular dance studios in the area, with some of the most sought after dance teachers and choreographers in the NYC vicinity, have formed a unique, bold alliance. The result is that anyone - whether a member of a dance studio, dance company, theater group or interested individual - can attend classes at their studios.
Synergy Dance Alliance - What It Means to You
Now, for the first time, you can attend classes at top NJ Dance Studios like
For Dancers Only ("FDO") in Little Falls and The Dance Academy of North Jersey ("DANJ") without registering and enrolling for an entire school year of pre-scheduled classes. Instead, you decide to attend only when you are interested in attending. Just like the NYC dance center studios, spots in the classes will be filled on a "first-to-register, first-served" basis.

The world-class faculty at the Synergy Dance Alliance Studios include: Daniella Cavalieri, Elisabetta Spuria, Jamie Salmon, Jason Luks, Jihan Armaroli, Mark Burrell, Mike Minery, Sarah Jo Fazio, Tom Richardson and many more!
How Do You Join Synergy Dance Alliance?
Synergy Dance Alliance or "SDA" does not require that you join a studio or pay a registration or membership fee, it is strictly a pay-as-you-go opportunity. All you have to do is purchase an "SDA Class Card" and use it when you want and where you want.

The dance studios in the Synergy Dance Alliance will publish their respective
schedules for their regular and master classes -- either directly on this site or via links to their web sites. When you decided to attend a class, you simply login to the online registration system and sign-up for that class or classes. Spots in the classes will be filled on a first to register basis, just like the NYC dance center studios.
How Does the Card Work?
Dance classes in SDA member studios -- once you are confirmed in a class, your SDA Class Card will be charged for the class as follows: (i) your card will be charged $20 for each one-hour class you attend (classes less than one hour will also be charged $20); (ii) classes longer than one hour will be charged proportionately (for example, the SDA Card will be charged $30 for a 90 minute class).

Master Classes in SDA member studios -- Master Classes are classes taught by nationally renown visiting professionals not affiliated with the SDA member studios. As an SDA Class Card holder, you will have priority reservation rights to attend these Master Classes over other dancers who are not members of the SDA studios. If you use your SDA Card for any of these Master Classes, the card will be charged the published rate for the Master Class.
How Do You Sign-Up for a Class?
When you decide to attend a class, you simply login to the SDA online registration system (at our
Reservation Desk) and sign-up for that class. Spots in the classes will be filled on a first-to-register basis, just like the NYC dance center studios. Once you are confirmed in a class, your SDA Class Card will be charged for the class as described above.
How Can You Purchase a Ten Class Card?
SDA Class Cards can be purchased online at this website (at our
Card Store) or by visiting any of the member studios in-person. An SDA Class Card has a value of $200 resulting in a cost to you of $20 per one-hour class(classes up to one hour are charged as a one-hour class). In addition to being available for online purchase as described above, SDA Class Cards may be purchased in-person at the participating studios beginning on Monday, September 13th.
